INVEST IN THE BABICE ECONOMIC ZONE

THE BABICE BOROUGH is located in the north-western part of the Lesser Poland Voivodship, in Chrzanów County, on the border of the southern part of the Tenczyński Ridge and the Vistula Valley. It covers an area of 54.4 km2. In 2020 it had 8909 inhabitants. It is a rural commune consisting of seven villages: Babice, Jankowice, Mętków, Olszyny, Rozkochów, Wygiełzów and Zagórze, where there are many attractive and specific places worth visiting. The greenest and the most idyllic of all boroughs of the County of Chrzanów is its natural tourist centre. It attracts tourists with its pristine nature, beautiful views, and monuments of defensive, sacral and rural architecture. At the same time, attractive areas for housing construction and an excellent educational and social base far from the commotion of the city create an ideal climate for settling and peaceful living. The most recognisable tourist attractions are the 13th century Lipowiec Castle, the open-air museum in Wygiełzów and the cycling routes running through the picturesque landscapes of the municipality, including the Vistula Cycling Route.

THE BABICE ECONOMIC ZONE

We encourage you to invest in the Commune of Babice – a place that is favourable to investors and creates a friendly climate for investment. The borough offers investment areas with a total area of over 57 ha, situated in an attractive location – in the immediate neighbourhood of the Babice and Wygiełzów bypass. According to the local spatial development plan, these areas have been dedicated to production and services. These parcels of land, as per the Decree of the Council of Ministers, have been covered by the Special Economic Zone, thanks to which entrepreneurs will be able to enjoy tax exemptions for 15 years. Since the year 2020 Babice borough has taken intensive actions in order to prepare investment areas for the needs of locating economic projects. To increase the attractiveness of the land for potential investors, water and sewage infrastructure was created and actions were taken to build internal roads, a stormwater drainage system and street lighting.
